Latest Updates from Our Project:

Off to the Printers!
over 4 years ago – Mon, Oct 14, 2019 at 06:25:07 PM

Hey folks,

We got our print proofs back and they look amazing! We've approved the print run - that's starting now. We'll be signing the hardcovers next month. On top of that, the dice and boxes are weeks away from being finished.

Everything is full steam ahead! Make sure to put in any address changes now. We'll be locking addresses fairly soon, so if you need to update please do so as soon as possible.

Backer Keys!
over 4 years ago – Tue, Oct 01, 2019 at 02:25:00 PM

In a favorable twist, our backer keys were approved at 9am this morning. Enjoy, and we'll see you all when Sundown prints.

Release Day Eve
over 4 years ago – Mon, Sep 30, 2019 at 09:13:38 PM

Hey folks,

You may have seen our comment on our last update: the Itch keys for our backers did not send as a result of a security measure on Itch's part. Well, as of now, Sundown is one hour from going public, and we've heard nothing back from Itch in the way of progress.

It was a tough choice, but rather than delay the release to allow our backers the first look at Sundown, we've decided to proceed as planned and promised.

We are very excited for the release of Sundown, and we are grateful to each and every backer for helping us on our journey!

Backer PDF Release Early!
over 4 years ago – Fri, Sep 27, 2019 at 11:09:30 PM

Hey y'all, we've got our Sundown PDF keys out a touch early! The full release for sale will still be October 1st, but our backers get it a few days earlier.

We regret to go back on our word, but we won't be producing an epub version at this time. It breaks in exciting, new ways with every export, and in the interest of getting the rest of Sundown finished, we've put this on an indefinite hold.

If anyone is having trouble accessing their copy of Sundown, please reply to this update, send us a message, email, DM on twitter! We'll respond to any of our contact methods so don't be shy to say you're struggling to claim a key!

Finally, Sundown prints are full steam ahead! We'll be getting our proof back from Gasch soon, and the sundice are in the shop as we speak. We'll keep you updated as the print release continues and rewards are shipped out.

Thanks again for all your support!

Big Update! - Art, Printing, And PDF
over 4 years ago – Tue, Sep 17, 2019 at 09:42:15 PM

Some Good News!

  • A Release Date!
  • The Final Art Update!
  • Sundown Hits Printers Soon!

...and Some Bad News.

  • There's a Small Delay.

October 1st

While we originally promised a September delivery of Sundown's completed PDF, some Life Things (tm) have set us back about two or three weeks. Our backers can now look forward to Sundown in .pdf and .epub formats, both in full art and plaintext, on October 1st: just in time for some spooky shenanigans!

If, by some chance, you didn't back the project, but you still want to get your hands on Sundown, it will be available on itch.io for $15 on the same day!

Printing

Once the art is implemented, our printer approves the files, and we get a correct proof back, we'll be printing books. In this time, we'll be getting in touch with our fulfillers and working with One Eyed Raven for our sundice and dice boxes. All in all, things are running smoothly, we're just a touch behind.

As with our digital copies, our prints will be about a month late, so backers can expect them to arrive in January. We hope this delay won't inconvenience anyone, and we'll put out a call for you to lock in your address before we send the books out.

And Finally, Art

As of last night, all of Sundown's artwork is complete. We have every piece in, and we're excited to share them with you! While we get busy implementing the several layouts we need to finish, we thought we'd tide you over with a few pieces of Orion's gorgeous work.
